The Runaway Bay Community consists of 758 acres located on Leesville Lake in Bedford and Campbell Counties in Virginia. We are about 20 miles south of Lynchburg, 25 miles east of Roanoke, and 45 miles north of Danville.

This web site is a resource for people interested in Runaway Bay, its residents, and it's community organization. The site contains information on the issues and activities that involve us and enhance our understanding of the spirit of Runaway Bay and the Leesville Lake area.
