The Homeowner's Association
On April 8, 2004 at the last Board meeting conducted by the developer appointed Board, the Runaway Bay Homeowner's Association transitioned from developer control to property owner control.
A new Board consisting of property owners replacing the developer controlled Board was elected by the membership. The first property owner Board members were Roger Winters, President, Mike Lobue, Vice President and acting Treasurer, Karen Bragg, Secretary, Bill Wallace, member at large and Architectural Committee Liaison, and Jim Slagle, member at large and webmaster.

The Transition Advisory Committee, formed in November 2003 (History), actively participated in the transition and several members of the Committee ran for and received places on the board.
